Our Services


If you would like an appointment, you can call 02 5301 6585 and select your closest location or enter your details below on the online contact page, and one of our team members will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment time shortly.


Initial appointments are typically 45 minutes in duration, whilst 30 minutes is given to subsequent appointments. For patients seeing us through a WorkCover claim or the NDIS, we will usually require 60 minutes. 

Private Clients

If you have private health cover you may be eligible to claim a rebate for Exercise Physiology, depending on your type of cover. Each Private Health Insurer is different, and therefore the benefits available will vary. Please contact your insurer if this is important to you.

Medicare Patients

Patients presenting with a Chronic/Complex Condition or who have Type 2 Diabetes may be eligible for a rebate under Medicare if you are referred by your General Practitioner with a specific referral. 

In order to help you get the best treatment possible and see you for a consult longer than the 20 minutes that Medicare reimburse us for, we charge a small gap fee. Please contact us for more information should you need it.

Veteran’s Affairs 

We service patients under Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) with eligible GOLD or WHITE card
Empowered Healthcare provides Exercise Physiology services to eligible War Veterans and War Widows. Entitled Veterans can be referred for Exercise Physiology sessions by their General Practitioner with a D904 referral form. Your GP will explain why you are being referred, but in brief:

  • Gold Card holders are entitled to clinically necessary treatment covered by DVA’s health care arrangements for all health conditions.
  • White Card holders are entitled to clinically necessary treatment for certain accepted conditions/disability

Our treatment plans are all safe and supported by evidence based practice to ensure that you are making positive changes to your health.


Motion as Medicine practitioners commit to the wellbeing of all their clients, and have a reputation for being open, honest and empathetic, especially with those patients with disabilities. The National Disability Insurance Scheme was developed to provide long term, effective care, and we share the same goal. We understand the difficulties of NDIS planning, preparation and budgeting. So we take pride in giving our participants on the NDIS full access to our team on the phone, via e-mail or in person to plan goals, sessions and ensure our treatment is extremely beneficial to their function and quality of life. We currently see NDIS participants who are plan managed or self-managed. We provide Work Conditioning programs to assist injured workers to return to full duties at home and at work, to their optimal capacity.

We provide one-on-one care in the initial phases of treatment to educate and develop an appropriate, goal orientated, functional program. As the patient progresses, more independence is promoted to ensure greater self-management whilst under our guidance to set them up with the best possible long term management for their workplace injury.
