Disability Services

We love working with our participants who have a form of disability and take much pride in seeing them flourish in life as a result of their treatment. We only see plan and self-managed participants on the NDIS. Most participants use Capacity Building Funding through either Improved Daily Living or Improved Health and Well-being to access our help.

We currently assist patients from the age of 8 to 73 enhance their health, increase their function, improve their mobility and maintain their independence, which all goes towards meeting the goals of their NDIS plans.

We have participants who are wheelchair bound, amputees, those with neurological impairments, cognitive deficits and many other rare disabilities. Exercise Physiology is extremely important in our pariticpants lives as it:
– allows them to maintain or regain function.
– allows them to maintain or regain their independence.
– improves other aspects of their health that may be detrimental to their disability.
– can slow the disease or disability process.
– gives them a social outlet that provides them with a community in which to thrive.

We are proud to be a part of the National Disability Consortium, a team of allied health professionals coming together under one banner to give the best service to our patients with disabilities. You can check out our profile on their website: https://www.australiandisabilityconsortium.com.au/brett-causer-motionasmedicine.
