What are our patients & clients saying …

“I was referred to Brett by my doctor in Cootamundra. My referral was aimed at getting better control of my blood sugar for my diabetes, but I had also been suffering significant shoulder pain, so much so I could not lift it above my head. After a few sessions with Brett aimed at getting the muscles around my shoulder loose, I am now able to lift it above my head and have exercises that are getting my shoulder stronger so it serves me well for the future. My doctor is very happy as well, as my last blood test indicated I’m getting better at managing my blood glucose levels. So much so that my doctor is considering taking me off some of my medications at our next review. Thank you Brett for bringing exercise physiology to Coota!”

Bryan - Retired Builder

“An amazing service for the rural community. Awesome professionals who help you set goals and achieve great results!”

Lorraine - Childcare Educator

“I have suffered 3 times with lower back problems being prolapsed discs at L4/L5 and L5/S1, which has seen me off work and out of action for weeks at a time. I was then referred to Motion as Medicine. Brett is warm and welcoming. He has helped me find muscles that I didn’t even know I had to help build strength around my lower back and core, helped with lifting techniques and home-based exercises to get me not only back to work but also back doing all the activities that I had put on the back burner. I highly recommend Brett as a professional to help everyone, not just those that have sporting injuries. Great work champ!”

Paul - Ambulance Officer

“Thank you for your help with my Mum, who has many respiratory problems and is almost always on oxygen. She can now complete many activities with confidence that she wouldn’t even attempt before, which makes my job as her carer that little bit easier. We both hope your business goes on to bigger and better things for you and the rural communities you service. Great work.”

Joy - Carer

“After referral from my local doctor to the Exercise Physiologist, Brett Causer, I have received a detailed analysis and explanation of the underlying causes of pain and immobility in my arm, along with a range of exercises to do with a view to targeting those muscles responsible, to strengthen them and get them working as intended. The exercises were well explained, I was supervised to ensure I was doing them correctly, received a printed copy with detailed explanation of each exercise as well as access to an app through which I can view my personal plan with videos of the exercises. Follow up a few weeks after the first visit to check progress and extend the plan gives me confidence that I am on the right track. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone with health issues that can be addressed by an exercise physiologist to seek an appointment with Brett from Motion as Medicine – you will receive individual, professional and friendly service from this personable young man and you will be steered towards a healthier you. And by the way, I love the Motion4Groups session held at 5:15 pm Thursday at Grenfell – it’s fun and a good work out for any level of ability, set your own pace.”

Jan - Retired Teacher

“My boys aged 8 and 5 love the kids after school program (Motion4Kids) you run. It’s great for them to get outside and stay active. Thanks for all of the skills you are sharing!”

Alisha - Accountant & Mother

“I began seeing Brett on recommendation from my doctor to assist with my breathing. I quit smoking 10 years ago, however, I have emphysema as a result and this results in the production of phlegm that I struggle to cough up and I’m very fatigued after simple activities, like mowing the lawn. Brett initially taught me a range of breathing exercises that made a huge difference to my clearance of phlegm, but also my breathlessness. I was surprised my respiratory specialist had not prescribed these exercises before I met Brett. Once I got better at breathing, which was harder then I thought, we then worked on strengthening my lungs through further breathing exercises before completing exercises for the whole body. I now have very little trouble bringing up the horrible phlegm in my throat, I can mow the entire front lawn without stopping and he even helped me manage my low back pain flare-ups. I would throughly recommend Brett and the Motion as Medicine team to assist you with any of your health conditions. It has been a life-changer for me.”
